The Mahmood Memorial Fund

Mahmudur Rahman Khan, a junior in Computer Engineering served as our Treasurer during 2002-2003. Mahmood was a very responsible, caring, and a wonderful friend to all of us. His generosity always transcended beyond the call of duty and he was willingly active in all ABS events. Unfortunately, he passed away in an accident on April 9, 2003. This was a tremendous loss to all of us in this small community as we had to struggle with the void of a very friendly, religious, and kind hearted soul amongst us.

ABS strongly believes that Mahmood's generosity and his duty towards friends, religion, and family should be cherished and upheld as a strong example for many years to come. As of April 2003, we decided to name our account the Mahmood Memorial Fund so that all our charitable deeds and contributions will yield blessings and prayers from everyone to benefit Mahmood's departed soul. We sincerely hope we can continue doing great charitable deeds in local communities and Bangladesh in the future.
